Mixed features and fixes. The headline addition is the search bar's new ability to accept pasted lat/long or UTM coordinates as a target — the foundational version of what would become the typed coordinate entry experience in v3.1.5. Performance work on app relaunch and a few stability fixes round it out.

## Features

#### Paste Coordinates into Search to Drop a Target **`Mobile`**

The map's search bar now accepts a pasted **latitude/longitude** or **UTM coordinate** in addition to text searches. Paste a coordinate from notes, a plat map, or a teammate's message, and Codifi parses it, drops a target on the map at that location, and centers the view on it. A natural fit for navigating to pre-plotted resources in the field.

This was extended in [v3.1.5](/codifi-docs/release-notes/v3.1/v3.1.5.md) with full datum conversion (WGS84 / NAD83 / NAD27) and an in-app **Type a Coordinate** sheet. The 3.1.4 version handles WGS84 directly.

## Enhancements

* **`Mobile`** **Faster app relaunch** — Subsequent launches of the Codifi app now skip the Map Preloader step (it's only needed on first launch after install or update). On already-loaded devices, the app reaches a usable map screen significantly faster.
* **`Mobile`** **Map style watchdog** — Added a 15-second per-style watchdog so a map style that fails to render won't silently stall the map. If a style takes too long, Codifi surfaces the issue rather than spinning indefinitely.
* **`Mobile`** **GPS stays warm on the Project screen** — The GPS subsystem now stays warm while the Project screen is open, so opening Draw Mode or capturing a Record doesn't have to wait for a fresh GPS lock.
* **`Mobile`** **Records list reset on focus** — Fixed an issue where the Records list could appear stuck or empty after switching back to a Project from another screen. The list now resets correctly on focus and shows current data.
* **`Mobile`** **Adaptive FAB menu text** — The Smart FAB's text labels now adapt their length and wrapping based on screen real estate, so menu items stay readable on iPhone and don't overflow on iPad.

* Fixed an issue where creating a child Record could route the user back to a stale parent reference — the new Record now consistently lands under the actual currently-selected parent. \[CP-5818]
